Ocuco - software with vision

Ocuco provides the market leading integrated ophthalmic laboratory management system (Labman™), used in some of the largest and most sophisticated prescription labs and glazing workshops across the UK and continental Europe.

The software is used to run a range of systems from lens design, order entry and validation to managing lens stock, ordering lenses from suppliers, cutting and glazing orders, dispatch, invoicing and accounts integration.

Labman™ is highly configurable to the individual needs of users and, through over 15 years of experience in this field, has been designed to allow you to run your laboratory with speed and efficiency. The system is designed to be helpful and easy to use for untrained operators. No detailed specialist knowledge is required.

•	Ocuco Lab division are pleased to announce that they are recruiting for two new positions within the Lab Group to compliment the existing team in Chipping Norton. The first will be a dedicated 1st line support position supporting the flagship Labman product. The successful applicant will be working alongside the lab team and will be the new face of support. No doubt you will soon be speaking to them over the phone in the near future!


•	The second position is for a senior developer who will be tasked with driving the development of Labman forward as part of the lab group strategy ensuring that Labman is still the number one solution for ophthalmic laboratories in the UK, Europe and beyond.


•	This in addition to my own appointment as Lab Group manager last month will bring our lab contingent to 8 strong. But it is with some regret that I also announce Martin Bradbeer is leaving the employment of Ocuco after 7 years service. Martin has contributed enormously to the success of the Labman product since joining back in 2000 and helped provide support and 1st line knowledge to the growing base of Labman customers.
